Norv is a family man who enjoys tending to his cows, working on personal projects, drinking coffee with good friends, campfires with the neighborhood, and spending time with his grandkids. Norvan “Norv” Skrivseth grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin, which showed him the true meaning of hard work. Norv completed school in Bonners Ferry, where he brought his wife Sharon promptly after they were married in 1994, they have lived in Bonners Ferry every since. Norv owned Kootenai River Builders for a time, and then worked at a custom log home company for years. Norv and Sharon then started a family business consisting of a bakery, country store, produce stand, and coffee shop called The Gathering Place… but Norv’s heart has always been in construction. This deep seated passion sparked the beginning of his newest adventure…
Fleming Creek Homes.
The youngest on the team, Benjamin “Ben” Skrivseth was born and raised in beautiful Bonners Ferry. Ben has been around construction since he was a child, as his father worked at a local log home company. Outside of high school, Ben started masonry work, including concrete, rock work, and other relating detail work, and continued gaining masonry experience for a couple of years. Ben then began working for a local shed center roofing and framing. After a few years gaining experience in construction, Ben traveled to Asia for mission work, where he taught others about leadership and spread the Gospel. After returning home in the summer of 2020, Ben got another job in construction. Not long after, Norv came to him with the idea of Fleming Creek Homes, and the rest is history. Besides work, Ben enjoys snowboarding, rock climbing, hiking, and spending time with his friends and family.
Paul Mast was originally born in Georgia, but spent much of his childhood in Mississippi. His family moved to Colorado, where his experience in construction began. When Paul turned 18, he moved to Oregon, where he continued to grow and learn about construction and building homes. In 2018, Paul married his wife Kate, and moved to Bonners Ferry, Idaho, where Kate is from, and really started to expand in the process of construction. In 2019, Paul built his and Kate’s first home… and that is when his true love for construction and the design of homes began. Since then, Paul has built another home for him and Kate, which they finished in early 2021, finished a home for Fleming Creek, and started on the business’s second home. Outside of building homes for Fleming Creek, Paul enjoys designing future homes, spending time with his family, snowboarding, and wakeboarding.
